Young living essential oils
May I share a secret with you? I have a whole army to help me through my days, even the easy ones! This little army comes in a glass bottle full of oil and can handle all sorts of issues…belly aches, sickness, doubt, creativity, confidence, the list goes on.
For the longest time, I struggled with being sub-par (if you know what I mean). I would have blah days often, not enough to be considered bad, but I didn’t feel like myself…just sub-par. I was often fatigued, anxious, sore, sad, and even depressed sometimes. Not enough to be diagnosed with anything, but I was running on low frequencies. I was tired of it! So, I started working on it, which has absolutely changed my life. The consistent effort is why I am here today, sharing my tactics with you. One tool I have in my back pocket are these high-quality essential oils. They are handy and effective, just my style, so I had to share it with you!
I dabbled with oils from everywhere for quite a while. Grabbed a lavender from Walmart, maybe a kit from Amazon, and a peppermint from our local grocery store, but nonetheless, was intrigued by the smells. Thought one would make a great candle or maybe to throw in my bath water to relax me. It wasn’t until I bought a full kit from Young Living that I became invested. I wanted to learn what the hype was all about. It wasn’t until I started using them on a regular basis that I learned the outstanding therapeutic benefits when used properly. I started researching how to use my kit to help patients in my chiropractic office, and it worked! My kit, a variety or 12-14 oils was enough for me to start creating a healing regimen for myself and my patients. Again, it is a consistent practice.
Did you know essential oils have been used for centuries to heal and they are even mentioned in the Bible many times! Essential oils have worked for years to heal people of many ailments. I love having natural tools in my toolbelt to keep us on track.
Oils raise your frequency. Bring on the Joy, Happiness, and Peace!
My favorites
There are so many benefits to essential oils and so much to know. Here are a few starter tips!
My two favorite oils under $25: Peppermint and Lavender.
Peppermint is a common oil with many surprises! The oil is known for its invigorating, fresh scent. I think of diffusing it when I need to wake up. The therapeutic effects are endless. I am all for essential oils with multiple purposes. If you think of it as cooling, use it to cool different parts of your body, like a sore, hot muscle, a headache, sinus/allergy issues, or even an upset stomach. When I first started using the oil, it was predominantly for sore muscles, but I have been pleasantly surprised with all of its options.
Lavender is often called the calming oil. A floral scent that is widely known to help a person sleep! I have never had trouble falling asleep, but I do know it brings me down a notch. If I had a long night of work and need to go from work mode to relax mode, this helps me get there. The most recent benefit I found for lavender is rubbing it on pimples to take the redness out. Anxiety and overwhelm can be calmed when applying this oil to your skin where you feel the emotion.
Want a non-toxic home?
Chemicals inside the home are becoming more and more of an issue. They are EVERYWHERE without us even realizing it. The preservatives and the harshness of the chemicals are affecting the health of our families. I have slowly moved my home to a more natural and health conscious home. It was a slow transition, but it has helped to find products that work and are appropriate for my life. My favorite products from Young Living are:
Aromabright Toothpaste
Thieves Cleaner
Satin Face Wash
Diffusers
